About my practice

I maintain a hybrid practice and meet with clients both in person at my office in Kentfield, Marin County, and online over telehealth. From my perspective, the screen is not a barrier - if anything, it can be a supportive boundary that deepens therapy in a unique way. At the same time, the potency of in-person therapeutic work is undeniable. I am a great believer that different bodies need different supports, and it is important to me that I am able to offer both options to my clients.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not work directly with insurance.

However, if your insurance offers you out-of-network benefits as part of your plan, I can help you facilitate the process of getting reimbursed by your insurance. To do this, I will provide you with a document called a "super bill". A super bill is an itemized receipt that insurance companies need as proof of services and proof of payment, in order to reimburse you.

To find out of your insurance offers partial reimbursement for out-of-network individual or couples therapy....

    1. Call your insurance provider and ask

    2. If they DO offer coverage for out-of-network psychotherapy, find out ....

      1. how much your deductible is, which is the amount you pay before they start reimbursing you

      2. what percentage of the out-of-pocket costs they cover

      3. how to submit your super bill (a form I provide to you) to facilitate reimbursement with them (e.g. online, mail, etc.)

      4. what method will be used to reimburse you and/or how long it takes to process your claims

  • If you are in CRISIS, please...
